These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Favour Edited.
By accepting a quote, paying a deposit or otherwise confirming an order, the client acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Favour Edited will work collaboratively with the client to create the agreed blind box design.
Clients may provide artwork, photographs, illustrations, wording or other design elements for inclusion in their design. The client is responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any materials they provide.
The client will receive the number of design revisions included in their selected design experience or quote.
Written approval of the final design is required before production can begin.
Final approval confirms that the client has reviewed and accepted all elements of the design, including names, dates, spelling, wording, artwork, colours, quantities and other event details.
Once the final design has been approved and production has commenced, changes may no longer be possible and may incur additional costs where changes can still reasonably be accommodated.
Minor artwork adjustments within the included revision allowance are included at no additional cost.
Requests outside the agreed design scope, additional revisions beyond those included, or significant changes to an approved design may incur an additional design fee.
Any additional costs will be communicated to and agreed with the client before the additional work is undertaken.
Favour Edited will provide a digital proof of the final design for approval before production.
Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing the proof and notifying Favour Edited of any required changes before providing final approval.
Where an approval timeframe is provided, clients should respond within that timeframe to avoid delays to production or delivery.
Colours, positioning and finishes shown in digital proofs are indicative. Minor differences may occur between digital displays and the final printed product due to printing processes, materials and screen settings.
A 20% deposit of the quoted order total is required to secure the client’s booking and commence the design process.
Once the final design has been approved, the remaining 80% balance becomes due.
Favour Edited will not commence printing, production, sourcing or ordering of boxes and curated items until the remaining balance has been received in full.
Payment instructions and due dates will be provided on the client’s quote or invoice.
Failure to make payment by the requested due date may delay production and delivery. Favour Edited cannot guarantee the originally anticipated completion or delivery date where payment or approval is delayed by the client.
Favour Edited coordinates the printing, production and sourcing of the client’s blind boxes and, where applicable, curated keepsakes.
Production and sourcing will commence once the final design has been approved and full payment has been received.
As products may be custom-made and sourced from third-party suppliers, reasonable variations in colour, print finish, positioning, dimensions or materials may occur between digital designs, samples and final products.
Favour Edited will take reasonable care to ensure the completed order reflects the approved design and agreed specifications.
Clients may choose keepsakes sourced by Favour Edited or, where agreed in advance, provide their own items for inclusion in the blind boxes.
Items sourced by Favour Edited will be reasonably inspected before packing.
Where a client supplies their own items, the client is responsible for ensuring the items are suitable in size, condition and quantity for the agreed blind boxes.
Favour Edited will handle client-supplied items with reasonable care but is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects or issues with items supplied by the client.
Any shortages or unsuitable client-supplied items may affect the number of completed blind boxes.
Estimated collection or delivery timing will be communicated once the final design has been approved, full payment has been received and production timing has been confirmed.
Favour Edited will take reasonable steps to have orders completed within the agreed timeframe.
Delivery timeframes provided by third-party couriers are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside Favour Edited’s reasonable control.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Additional delivery costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client may be charged to the client.
Where collection is arranged, collection details will be provided once the order is ready.
On-site delivery, setup or installation services are only included where specifically stated in the client’s quote.
The 20% deposit secures the client’s booking and allows Favour Edited to commence design work.
If the client cancels before design work has commenced, the deposit may be refunded.
Once design work has commenced, the 20% deposit is non-refundable, subject to the client’s rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Once the final design has been approved and production, printing or sourcing has commenced, payments relating to custom-made or already-ordered products cannot generally be refunded for a change of mind.
If Favour Edited has not yet incurred certain recoverable third-party costs at the time of cancellation, any refund or credit will be assessed based on the circumstances of the order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies the client may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details, quantities, artwork, delivery information and other requested information within the required timeframes.
Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all final designs and order details.
Delays in providing information, approving designs or making required payments may affect production and delivery timeframes.
Where client delays materially affect the original production schedule, Favour Edited may need to provide a revised estimated completion or delivery date.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original designs and artwork created by Favour Edited remain the intellectual property of Favour Edited.
Upon full payment, the client is granted permission to use the final design for their personal event or agreed purpose.
This does not transfer ownership of Favour Edited’s underlying design templates, concepts, illustrations or other intellectual property to the client.
Clients must have the appropriate rights or permissions for any photographs, logos, artwork or other materials they provide to Favour Edited.
Favour Edited may photograph or film completed products for use on its website, social media and other promotional materials.
Where a product contains personal information or event details, Favour Edited will take reasonable care when displaying this information publicly.
Marketing content relating to a wedding or private event will not be published before the event date unless permission has been provided by the client.
Clients may request that particular personal details are hidden or that their order is not featured publicly by contacting Favour Edited before their event.
